Mackenzie Burt is a native of Shiloh, GA, and one of our newest APPs to join Southeastern Cardiology. Mackenzie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbus State University in 2017, and she has been a Registered Nurse at St. Francis Hospital since; working 2.5 years in the Emergency Department and the last 4.5 years in the Cardiac Cath Lab, where she still currently works PRN. Her time spent working as a nurse circulator in the Cardiac Cath Lab is where her passion for cardiology grew and what led her to obtain a Masters in Nursing (FNP) from Auburn University - War Eagle! Her passion for cardiology, compassionate care, and dynamic work experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab makes her an excellent addition to Dr. Julien's team!
