Katie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbus State University, accumulating over 10 years of specialized experience in cardiac nursing, predominantly in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic critical care. In 2023, she furthered her education by obtaining a Master’s of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Columbus State University. Katie's professional focus revolves around her passion for cardiology and delivering high quality patient care.

Katie and her husband Trey have three children that keep them on their toes, a daughter, Addyson, and twin boys, Mason and Colin. She enjoys getting lost in a good book, quality time with loved ones, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs football team in the fall.
